Sunshine smiles ☀️😁

So here I am , 6.35am on Friday the 23rd of November, .. sat in our hotel room in Gran Caneria with a coffee, waiting for everyone to wake up as today is home day 😭 .. 

As you can probably guess we have been on holiday for the past week, and my god did we need it. 

We have stayed in the Anfi monte resort just off peurto Rico and it has been an amazing holiday, Craig's dad Gary & step mum Janice come here 2 -3 times a year and they booked us all this week together 😍 ( we really can't thank them enough 💙💜).

We have done nothing but relax, laugh, and eat 👌ok , there has been a few drinks involved too 😏🍸🍹 but we are on our HOLIDAYS 😎. 

What I'm trying to say is , I don't think we realised just how much we needed this break , we thought the adoption process wasn't really getting to us, but it has been, and it's to be expected. Hours and hours of social worker visits, inbetween working full time and trying to fit everything else in as well , it's draining 😭😴.. anyone who says different must be an alien 😂. 

3 days before we came away we had our final (4 hour long) social worker meeting. The last one before she wrote up our report 😖😍.. we are hoping our report will be at home when we get back so that we can both sit down and read everything she's put, it's gunna be so weird reading about our selves 😂 , but also a little exciting 👌.

This report basically has everything about us in it , from our childhoods to family members ,life experiences, and us as a couple. And once we've agreed it's ok then this will be given to panel for them to look at before we see them on the 18th of December. 

Me and Craig have been honest about everything, we both have things in our pasts that we have been through, some things good, some things not so good, but we both agree this makes us who we are today and we arnt ashamed or regret any of it. 

Of course we will keep you updated as we progress and we thank you all for your continued support 👌💜💙

But for now it's time to pack up our cases, get to the airport and fly back to reality, relaxed & ready to continue our exciting journey 😁  oh and put up our Christmas tree 😂🎄. 

Thankyou Gary & Jan for this holiday, we really do appreciate what you've done for us, we've loved every second, and hopefully this was our last holiday as a couple, next time we hope to have an extra addition to the turner-jones family 👌👶🏻🧒🏼👦👧🏼 ..
